Length: 1000 words ± 5%
Object: Write a story that begins with a given emotional trigger.
First draft should be about 2000 words; subsequent drafts should
be reduced to 1000 words.
Goal of the project: To become comfortable with cutting out
irrelevant or extra material and improve general editing skills.
