Writer's Workbench Literary Arts Collection
Welcome
to the Writer's Workbench Literary Arts Collection.
This
collection started from the writing projects created in
an internet writing group called the "Writer's Workbench."
Our members use the group forum to get some practice in various
writing techniques, while the creative writing exercises and projects
provide the basis for discussion. We use the group environment to
practice our writing skills, share ideas, and keep motivated,
particularly since most of us are often busy with many non-writing things
(jobs, kids, school, etc.).
The
group is privately hosted on Yahoo Groups, in order to keep
it to a manageable size. At this time we are not accepting new
members because the group is on hiatus.

Instructions
When
we do re-open the group, here are the instructions for
requesting to join:
Please send a brief explanation of your interest
in writing plus
a short sample of your writing (minimum 5 lines). Samples do
not have to be perfect, but they should demonstrate a basic understanding
of composition. Beyond this, all ages and writing levels
are welcome. At this time we are working on story composition,
but we may to do a poetry section later. ***NOT ACCEPTING AT
THIS TIME***
Submissions
We
do not accept submissions at this time.
The
Collection
One
good motivator for new or unpublished writers is knowing that your
work will become available for a real audience to read. This webpage
provides that forum for our group members. We hope you enjoy
reading the stories that come out of our
efforts.
